The fall bite on Lake Norman has been phenomenal! The fish are grouping up and the action’s heating up right along with it. The bass are schooling hard and chasing bait out in open water, and Damiki rigs have been the ticket for putting them in the boat.
If you’re running LiveScope or Active Target, you’re in for a treat; without it, things get a bit more challenging, but there’s still plenty of opportunity. Early mornings and late afternoons have been prime time for schooling bass on topwater baits and jerkbaits, classic fall fun.
The crappie bite’s been outstanding all day long, with solid schools doing their thing across brush and open structure alike.
Give us a call and we’ll get you on the water, the next month is going to be electric! Turtlehead Charters LKN is dialed in and ready to keep you on the fish this fall!
